These terms apply when you use TurfBuddy (“TurfBuddy”, “we”) to find, book and pay for turf slots. By signing in you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What TurfBuddy does

TurfBuddy is a marketplace. Each turf is run by its owner, who sets prices, opening hours, booking rules and the cancellation policy shown on the turf’s page. We take bookings and payments on the owner’s behalf. The owner is responsible for the ground, its safety and the service on the day.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Bangladeshi mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old, and players under 18 should book with a parent’s or guardian’s permission. Give your real name and team name.

3. Booking and paying

• When you choose a slot we hold it for 10 minutes. If the advance is not paid in that time, the hold ends and the slot is released.
• A booking is confirmed only when the advance shown at checkout is paid. The rest is paid at the turf’s counter.
• Prices are set by the turf and calculated by us at the moment you book, including weekend rates, special dates and any discount. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
• You may have at most two unpaid holds at a time, and a turf may limit how many bookings one player makes per week.
• Promo codes have their own conditions and may be withdrawn at any time. They have no cash value.
• If you split the cost with teammates, you remain responsible to the turf for the full amount.

4. Cancelling and refunds

Cancellations and refunds follow our refund policy and the rules shown on each turf’s page.

5. Wallet and points

• Your TurfBuddy wallet holds refunds, top-ups and credit from points. It can only be spent on bookings in TurfBuddy and is not a bank account.
• You earn 1 point for every ৳10 of a confirmed booking. Points earned on a booking are removed if it is cancelled or you do not turn up.
• From 500 points you can turn points into wallet credit at 10 points = ৳1, in steps of 100 points. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred. We may change the points programme with 30 days’ notice; points already earned stay valid for at least 12 months.

6. At the turf

Arrive on time and show your booking code or QR at the counter. Follow the turf’s rules and staff instructions. Overtime is charged by the turf in 15-minute steps. Damage caused by your group may be charged by the turf. If you do not turn up, the advance is not refunded.

7. Community features

Posts, challenges, team names and reviews must be honest and respectful. Do not post phone numbers, personal information, advertising or anything abusive, discriminatory or illegal. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. Reviews must describe a game you played.

8. Problems and disputes

If something goes wrong with a booking, use “Report a problem” on the booking within 7 days. We review the booking, payment and the turf’s side, and decide on any refund. This does not affect your rights under Bangladeshi consumer protection law.

9. Suspension

We may put an account on hold where we see fraud, abuse of promotions, repeated no-shows, chargebacks or breaches of these terms. You can contact support to ask for a review.

10. Liability

Playing sport carries a risk of injury; you play at your own risk and the turf is responsible for its premises. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid through TurfBuddy for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes and law

We may update these terms; we will show the date of the latest version here and tell you in the app about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction.
